In January-September of this year, the volume of Azerbaijan’s trade turnover conducted with the EU Countries made up USD 9,626 bln, which is 38,4% more compared with the same period of 2020, according to the calculations of APA-Economics based on the indicators published by State Customs Committee.
During the reporting period export to the EU was USD 8,008 bln, while the import was USD1,618 bln. Export increased by 56,8%, while import decreased by 12,4% in annual comparison.
As a result, in the nine months of the current year, Azerbaijan’s positive trade balance with the EU was USD 6,390 bln. which is 96% more in annual comparison.
