The next meeting of the Economic Council of Azerbaijan has been held, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
It was reported that the meeting, chaired by the Chairman of the Economic Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Prime Minister Ali Asadov, focused on the following agenda: the priority expenditure directions determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, for 2026-2029, the Medium-Term Budget Framework (MTBF), the main directions and goals of budget policy, initial macroeconomic forecasts for the medium-term period, macro-fiscal framework, budgetary indicators for the state and consolidated budgets for 2026 and the following three years, budget sustainability, and other current issues were discussed in detail.
