During January-February 2025, Azerbaijan's banks conducted $732.429 million in cash US dollar exchange operations, APA-Economics reports citing calculations based on Central Bank data.
The volume of this indicator has decreased by 23.4% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Note that during the reporting period, the purchase of cash US dollars by banks increased by 6.4% compared to January-February 2024, reaching 260.5528 million, while sales decreased by 33.6% to 471.8771 million.
During this period, the purchase of cash euros by banks increased by 27.3% compared to January of the previous year, reaching 21.5402 million, while sales increased by 30.7% to 40.8665 million.
