Azerbaijani Minister: "Amendments to state budget for 2022 not excluded"

"National development priorities have been already determined by the President", Azerbaijani Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said at the meeting of Economic policy, Entrepreneurship and Social Policy Committee of the Milli Majlis on the discussion of the draft law “On the budget package of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022”, APA reports.

The minister noted that special attention has been given to this issue: "Sources of funding must be determined in order to implement strategy regarding social and economic development till 2030. The strategy will be funded from sources known to us. One of the sources will be the state budget, amounts of the State Oil Fund. Others will be at the expense of different funds, of any involved amounts. A very important direction is the implementation of funding at the expense of the private sector. But the issue that will be our responsibility is the implementation of funds from the state budget. If it is needed additional state budget amount, amendments to the state budget for 2022 are not excluded".
