Azerbaijan increases duty on issuing excise stamps on alcoholic beverages and tobacco products

The rate of duty on issuing excise stamps on alcoholic beverages and tobacco products is increased, according to the amendment proposed to the law on state duty discussed at the Economic Policy, Industry, and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Milli Majlis, APA reports.

According to the law in force, state duty for issuing an excise stamp on alcoholic beverages is now AZN 0,06, while on tobacco products is AZN 0,05.

According to the amendment, a single state duty - AZN 0,07 will be applied for issuing an excise stamp.
