Azerbaijan’s state budget’s surplus exceeds AZN 1 bln

According to Ministry of Finance, receipts of state budget was fulfilled by 106.2%, up 45% or AZN 2,523.6 mln: “Ministry of Taxes fulfilled the forecast by 116% (AZN 2,967.5 mln transferred to budget, up AZN 404.6 mln or 15.8% from year earlier). State Customs Committee fulfilled the forecast 100.4% and transferred AZN 557.2 mln, up AZN 14.8 mln or 2.7% form previous year. State Oil Fund transferred AZN 4,592.3 mln. Other receipts stood at AZN 17.4 mlnâ€.
About expenditure of state budget, the expenditures was fulfilled by 91.4%, up AZN 2,227.4 mln or 45.6%: “AZN 2,299.7 mln or 32.3% of expenditures were directed to social expenditures, up AZ 369.9 mln or 19.2% from year earlierâ€.
AZN 1,164.6 mln or 86.1%^ was directed to industry, construction and mineral resources, AZN 31.2 mln or 42.8% - to economic activity, AZN 151.7 mln or 41.6% - to defence spending, AZN 283.5 mln or 42.1% - to social protection and social security, AZN 36.7 mln or 39.8% - to housing and communal, AZN 27.4 mln or 36.9% - to culture, art, information and physical culture, AZN 81.5 mln or 28% - to judicial power, law-enforcement agencies and prosecutor’s office, AZN 4.7 mln or 19.4% - to transport or communication, AZN 66.3 mln or 17.8% - to common state service expenditures, AZN 31.8 mln or 16.2% - to health and etc.
AZN 2,513.9 mln was directed to state-owned investing expenditures. AZN 513.5 mln of this was directed to education, health and reconstruction, health and other socio-cultural objects, AZN 1,475.9 mln – to water supply, gas, transport, communal, melioration and other infrastructures.
Incomes of consolidated budget made AZN 11,407.0 mln, expenditures – AZN 8,053.5 mln.
