Azerbaijan decreases positive balance on current transfers by 3.7 times

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. The total amount of transactions on current transfers with foreign countries made AZN $ 819.3 mln, in Q1, 2012. 52.3% or $ 428.7 mln of this is receipts, $ 390.6 mln or 47.7% - transfers from the country, Central Bank of Azerbaijan told APA.

93.6% of total premiums on current transfer are money orders which transferred to individual persons from abroad, 1.8% importing humanitarian goods, 4.6% other premiums.

The positive balance of transaction on current transfers makes $ 38.0 mln, down 3.7 times compared with a year ago.
