Bank deposits of Azerbaijani population increase by 29%

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-ECONOMICS. As of May 1, 2012, populationâ€™s deposits in Azerbaijan-based banks made AZN 4.3 bn, up 29.2% compared to the reporting period of last year.

The State Statistical Committee told APA-ECONOMICS that the deposits in national currency made AZN 2.4 bn (up 50%), in foreign currency â€“ AZN 1.9 bn (up 5.5).
