Gunay Sigorta gets AZN 30,000-loss in January-May

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based Gunay Sigorta has collected AZN 236,390 premium during January-May, 2012, up 21% from year earlier.

According to chief accountant of the company Halima Aliyeva, most of insurance premiums came from Property Fire Insurance (AZN 100,223), Casco insurance of cars (AZN 58,561) and Health insurance (AZN 45,928).

She says AZN 67,502 was paid on insurance risks during the same period, down 3.6% in comparison to a year earlier.

About payments, AZN 49,653 went to Casco insurance of cars, AZN 14,482 â€“ to Health insurance and AZN 3,157 â€“ Property Fire Insurance.

Note that, the incomes made AZN 32,050, expenditures â€“ AZN 62,050. Consequently, loss during reporting period made AZN 30,000. In 2011, company got AZN 13,000 profit.

Remind that, Gunay Sigorta has been in operation since 1992. The company operates 18 voluntary insurance types.
