AZN 4 mln payment carried out on return of USSR-period banking savings within a week

Press service of the bank told APA that 28,140 of the applications have been presented to the Center for Returning of Lump-sum Payment to Savers. The center gave positive decision on 16,570 applications.

During the period, nearly AZN 3,904,000 was paid to 6,200 savers.

The number of applications on the lost, or useless savings account passbooks, amounted to 1,142.

Taking the majority of number of applications into account, service points of Kapital Bank will operate on June 9, too. Only payments will be realized on that day. That is, the savers, who submitted their documents up to this day, can receive lump-sum payment from Kapital Bank on the first half of tomorrow.
