Azerbaijan-based Demirbank successfully continues the application of SAP for Banking automated banking system. is the first bank in South Caucasus to meet the requirements of SAP. The project titled Evolution is being realized under the support of EBRD and Netherlands Development Finance Company (FMO) by the PriceWaterhouseCoopers the consulting company.
Evolution project covers not only IT sphere, but also the entire business transformation. Note that, leading banks of the world such as CommerzBank, DeutscheBank, benefit from this program.
In order to coordinate IT infrastructure with the modern demands and operations volume, DemirBank also realized “Upgrade of IT infrastructure†project. Within the framework of the project new server and operating equipments were installed, network equipment and network cables were upgraded, IP-telephony was introduced, as well as a wide range of work was carried out in other directions.
