Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-ECONOMICS. In April, 2012, the number of average number hired workers made 1,378,900. Of this, 854,400 were in state sector of economy, 524,500 – in non-state sector.
State Statistical Committee says 24.3% of hired workers was in education, 19.6% - in trade, repair of transport facilities, 12.4% - in industry, 9.7% - in health and social services to population, 6.5% - in construction, 4.9% - in transport and storehouse economy, 3.4% - in professional, scientific and technical sphere, 2.9% - in agriculture, forestry and fishing, 1.9% - in information and communication sphere and 14.4% - in other spheres of economy.
The average monthly salary of hired workers in Azerbaijan made AZN 379.9 in the accounting month, in January – April it rose 8.4% to AZN 379.1, compared with a year ago, State Statistical Committee told APA.
