Passenger and cargo transportation tariffs decreased in Azerbaijan in May

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-ECONOMICS. The tariffs on cargo transport in transport sector decreased by 2.1%, on passenger transportation â€“ by 0.6%, in May, 2012.

According to State Statistical Committee, the tariffs decreased by 0.7% on local connection, 3.5% - on export, 9.5% - on import, 4.3% - on transit.

Transportation tariff of 1 ton of cargo via air transport to CIS countries fell 0.9%. Passenger transportation tariffs to CIS countries rose 5.4%, while dropped to other countries.

Oil and gas transportation tariffs via pipeline declined 2.8% and 0.1% respectively.
