Istanbul to host international economic forum

Baku. Victoria Dementieva – APA. The World Economic Forum on the Middle East, North Africa and Eurasia will open next week in Istanbul on June 4-6. APA reports that leaders from business, government, academia and civil society from over 70 nations, as well as Heads of state and government from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Jordan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tunisia, Turkey and Ukraine will attend the forum.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will participate in the opening ceremony of the meeting. The forum participants will exchange view on socio-economic situation in the regional countries, growth and employment, technological and social change, and governance, geopolitics after the Arab Spring, the future of the Eurozone; the politics of austerity, jobs, growth and entrepreneurship; the future of Syria, obstacles to economic diversification, as well as Turkey’s role in the region.
