YapiKredi Bank Azerbaijan increases troubled loans

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2012, YapiKredi Bank Azerbaijanâ€™s loan portfolio stood at AZN 124.647 mln, up 79% from year earlier.

Bank says the short-term loans (with the term of up to 12 months) rose 3.2 times to AZN 73.388 mln, long-term loans rose 22% to AZN 51.911 mln, consumer lending soared 3.4 times to AZN 18.250 mln. Overdue credits grew by 2.2 times to AZN 1.614 mln.

Deposit portfolio extended 62% to AZN 104.471 mln, as well term deposits doubled to AZN 27.823 mln, demand deposits â€“ gained 53% to AZN 76.648 mln, populationâ€™s deposits increased by 17 times to AZN 20.660 mln.

Remind that, YapiKredi Bank has been in operation since 2000. The bank operates 7 branches, 19 ATMs and 151 POS-terminals across the country.
