Xalg Bank gets decline in loan portfolio

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2012, Azerbaijan-based Xalg Bankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 715.214 mln, up 9.9% from year earlier.

Bank says deposit portfolio decreased by 6.1% to AZN 418.422 mln, loan portfolio dropped 8.5% to AZN 452.343 mln.

Total capital rose 91% to AZN 173.254 mln, as well authorized capital soared 92% to AZN 140.493 mln.

Clients surged 43% to 22,027, active plastic cards climbed 29% to 11,250.,

Note that, Xalg Bank has been in operation since 2004. The bank operates 18 branches, 34 ATMs and 61 POS-terminals across the country.
