Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. Total loan portfolio of the Islamic Development Bank on Azerbaijan has reached $1.2 bn, head of IDB representation in Azerbaijan Tamerlan Tagiyev said.
To him, currently, IDB is financing the implementation of big projects in state sector in Azerbaijan, including construction of solid waste disposal plant, construction of “South†electric station, improvement of water supply in 6 regions of Azerbaijan, development of agriculture and etc: “At the same time, we pay attention to the private sector tooâ€.
Azerbaijan is member of IDB since 1992.
