Azerbaijan Insurers Association makes amendments in statute

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. New statute of Azerbaijan Insurers Association was approved at the extra-ordinary meeting of founders.

According to new statute, itâ€™s considered to increase the members of Supervisory Board from 5 to 9, and abolishment of chairman post of Supervisory Board.

Besides, new composition of Supervisory Board was affirmed. So Standard Insurance, Azersigorta, Ateshgah, AXA-MBASK, AzSigorta, AzRe Tekrarsigorta and Silk Way Insurance were appointed as new members of Board in 2012.

Besides, Executive director post of AIA was substituted for chairman post.

Note that, new statute will come into force from January.

Remind that, AIA has been in operation since 2006.
