IBA releases new report on Electron Banking services

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. International Bank of Azerbaijan has released the report on growth and development on Electron Banking Services in January-September, 2011.

Bank says 346,000 operations in amount of AZN 13.7 mln were carried out in the report. 93% of operations belong to mobile communication payments, 70% of operations in cash equivalents â€“ to Kart Transfer service.

Most of use services among the Electron Banking products were Kart Transfer, Elektron Deposit and SMS Notification.

Report says total volume of Elektron deposits made AZN 1.36 mln in 9 months of 2011, while AZN 292,000 deposit account was opened in 2009, AZN 1.2 mln deposit account â€“ in 2010 on Elektron Deposit service.

Although, number of operations carried out via ATMs was high (91% of total number), share of their cash equivalents decreases and made 25% in accordance to outcomes of 9 months of 2011.

Share of Internet Banking in total amount of operations made 32% (19% in 2010), of Mobile Bank system â€“ 7% (5% in 2010) and of information kiosks â€“ 36% (21% in 2010).

Remind that, IBA has been in operation since 1992.
