Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov: â€œAzerbaijan needs additional fund to establish important infrastructureâ€

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA-Economics. AZN 800 mln is planned to allocate for increase of wages I 2012, said the Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov.

According to him, pensions rose 40% compared to 2010: â€œthis is a large amount. State implements important projects. Steps are taken on water and canalization networks will constructed in the regions. For this purpose, AZN 7 bln may be spent in the country. We need additional funds for this infrastructure. ON the other hand, we have projects on transport infrastructure. Budget allocated funds to Baku-Tbilisi-Kars project. After these projects, Azerbaijanâ€™s regions will be improvedâ€.

Sharifov also expressed opinion on increase of funds for mortgage program: â€œsome one says this fund will be for 60 families, but it is necessary for 25,000 families, per year. In turn, AZN 1 bln is required for 25,000 families. If the government gives mortgage loan in lower interests, this can be difficult for usâ€.
