Minister Fazil Mammadov: â€œDiscussions of reduction of tax burden in Azerbaijan are misplacedâ€

According to him, the social tax in Azerbaijan makes 17.5%, joint with social allocations â€“ 21.5%. In EU countries, this index makes 39.5%.

â€œWe consider that, itâ€™s important to involve the 14% of AZN 2,000-income to tyax. IF any banker gives 35%, why does any one worry? Up to AZN 2,000 the tax will be 14%, more than AZN 2,000 â€“ 35%. This is in the world practiceâ€, said the minister.

He stated that, exemption of agriculture from tax completely, was prolonged for 5 years.
