Elman Rustamov: â€œTax burden must be reduced for involving of foreign investments to Azerbaijanâ€

According to him, implementation of new strategy makes it necessary.

He also spoke about reduction of tax burden within the reforms: â€œTax burden must be reduced for involving of foreign investments to Azerbaijan., Azerbaijan ranks 95th for this issue. I think we must direct the tax burden from production to consumptionâ€.

He also noted that, rationalization of expenditures is on the agenda.

â€œWe have to try the inflation not to rise over 5%. For this purpose, it needs to coordinate the operations of organizations regulating the macroeconomic policyâ€, he added.

According to him, exchange rate of manat must be kept at the low level. This will support to increase the export potential.

At the same time, he stressed that, Azerbaijan developed strategy on education reforms: â€œWe hope that, this document will be developed recently. Most of education expenses are directed to salaries. Its significant part must be directed to the reformsâ€.
