Azerbaijan sees 11% rise in bank deposits since the beginning of year

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. As of September 1, 2011, the volume of deposits placed at the existing credit institutions in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 8,449.7 mln, up AZN 823.9 mln or 10.8% compared to last year.

AZN 3,660.7 mln or 43.3% in the structure of deposits fall on share of households deposits. The volume of deposits increased by AZN 630.9 mln or 20.8% from the beginning of the year.

Moreover, as of September 1, the volume of corporate deposits amounted to AZN 4,789 mln. Since the beginning of the year this figure had risen AZN 193 million or 4.2%. AZN 2,473.2 mln or 51.65 of deposits fall on share of financial organizations, AZN 2,315.8 mln or 48.4% - non-financial organizations.
