Azerbaijan gets 7% rise in foreign trade turnover during January-September

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijanâ€™s import-export operations with 148 foreign countries during January-September, totalled $26.6 billion, including exports in amount of $19.7 bln and imports - $6.9 bln, said the State Statistical Committee. Consequently, foreign trade balance made $12.8 bln

According to SSC, $ 4.3 bln of commodity exchange was conducted with CIS countries, $ 22.3 bln â€“ with other countries.

The foreign trade turnover rose 27.5%, as well the turnover on CIS countries increased by 46.6%, on other countries â€“ 4.7%, compared to a year earlier.

82.2% of foreign trade operations were conducted with Italy, France, Russia, US, Ukraine, Turkey, Belarus, Malaysia, India, Israel, Germany, Georgia and China.
