Share of overdue credits drops to 6.2% in Azerbaijan

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. As of September 1, 2011, the total loan portfolio Azerbaijan-based credit organizations stood at AZN 9,528.4 mln, up AZN 739.8 mln or 8.4% from year earlier, said the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. At the same time, the loan portfolio has soared AZN 408.2 mln or 4.5% during August.

Volume of overdue credits as of September 1, 2011 made AZN 592.5 mln or 6.2%-share in loan portfolio.

Increase of overdue credits is a negative performance and reflects the low payment ability of borrowers.
