Volume of operations on BICEX doubles in October

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. The 29 deals were closed on 42 trade sessions on the Baku Interbank Currency Exchange (BICEX), in October, 2011. As a whole, 11 bank organizations have taken part in these operations.

The volume of e-operations on currency was AZN 88.672 mln or $ 112.755 mln in October, up AZN 43.406 mln in comparison to October of 2010.

The average daily turnover on BEST (Bourse E-system of Trades) reached to $ 5.369 mln, while average volume of per deal was $ 3.888 mln.

Five banks- Azerbaijan Industry Bank (37.81%), Amrahbank (30.22%), International Bank of Azerbaijan (14.63%), Xalg Bank (8.87%) and UniBank (4.31%) came ahead for the amount of deals in October.
