Xalq Bank extends loan portfolio by 16% year-on-year

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of October 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based Xalg Bankâ€™s loan portfolio made AZN 532.012 mln, up 16% from a year earlier.

During the reporting period, the loan given up to n12 months rose 95% to AZN 199.941 mln, the loans given for a period of exceeding 12 months dropped 6.8% to AZN 332.071 mln, consumer loans increased by 44% to AZN 21.524 mln.

The volume of mortgage loans rose 30% to AZN 19.319 mln, overdue credits increased by 34% to AZN 14.292 mln.

Note that, Xalg Bank has been in operation since 2004. It operates 15 branches, 31 ATMs, 54 POS-terminals and 406 employees across the country.
