Xalg Bank gets 37% in assets year-on-year

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of October 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based Xalg Bankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 700.684 mln, up 37% from year earlier.

Bank says the deposit portfolio rose 53% to AZN 482.148 mln, loan portfolio soared 16% to AZN 532.012 mln.

Total capital increased by 8.1% to AZN 90.342 mln, as well authorized capital surged 14% to AZN 82.895 mln.

Clients increased 34% to 19,984, active plastic cards grew 33% to 10,693.

Note that, Xalg Bank has been in operation since 2004. The bank operates 15 branches, 31 ATMs and 54 POS-terminals across the country.
