Azerbaijani customs authorities increase payments to budget by 6%

Baku. Ali Ahmadov â€“ APA-Economics. In September, 2011, the customs authorities of Azerbaijan transferred AZN 100 974.9 thousand to the state budget, which is 2.72% more compared to August and up 1.8% from a year earlier.

State Customs Committee says, AZN 20,621.27 thousand was transferred to budget as customs duties, AZN 73,098.75 thousand as VAT (7.5%). In September, excise taxes made AZN 6,129.04 thousand (2.1), road taxes â€“ AZN 1,125.84 thousand (25%).

Generally, in January-July, 2011, customs authorities in Azerbaijan transferred AZN 643.446 mln to the state budget. Of these, AZN 134.980 mln fall on share of customs duties, AZN 467.398 mln â€“ VAT, AZN 34.476 mln â€“ excise taxes, AZN 6.593 mln â€“road tax.

In 9 months of the current year, customs authorities in Azerbaijan have listed AZN 842.717 mln to the state, up 5,5% compared to last year. Of these, AZN 178.791 mln fall on share of customs duties, AZN 608.5 mln â€“ VAT, AZN 46.608 mln - excise taxes, AZN 8.818 mln - road tax.
