Royal Bank gets 7% rise in assets year-on-year

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of October 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based Royal Bankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 186.144 mln, up 6.5% from year earlier.

Bank says the loan portfolio rose 9.46% to AZN 133.099 mln, deposit portfolio decreased by 4.6% to AZN 76.357 mln. Total capital soared 7.2% to AZN 20.779 mln, as well authorized capital surged 7.3% to AZN 22.139 mln.

Number of clients increased by 2.5 times to 132,433, including individuals rose by 2.6 times to 130,718, legal entities dropped 15.3% to 1,715, active plastic cards climbed 56.23% to 43,400, as well debit cards grew 62.5% to 41,170, credit cards slipped 8.4% to 2,230.

Number of staffs slid 7.8% to 566, average monthly salary gained 48% to settle at AZN 812.

Remind that, Royal Bank has been in operation since 1993. The bank operates 32 branches, 32 ATMs and 113 POS-terminals across the country.
