Azerbaijanâ€™s budget surplus sharply decreases in January-September

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan’s state budget revenues in January-September, 2011, amounted to AZN 8,978.9 million, expenses â€“ AZN 8,734.8 million.

In comparison with the figures for the corresponding period last year, the state budget revenues grew by 19.6% or AZN 1,474.4 million, expenses â€“ AZN 1,898.2 million or 27.8%. Budget surplus amounted to AZN 244.1 million, up 2.7 times or AZN 423.8 million compared to last year.

With this AZN 4,063.2 million (compared with the figures for the corresponding period last year more than 29.9%) were under the Ministry of Taxes, AZN 842.7 million (15.4%) - Customs Committee, AZN 3 2 million (-8.6%), Committee on Property, AZN 4,021.0 million (10.9%) - State Oil Fund, AZN 48.8 million (+ 2.1) - other sources .

Budget expenditures of Azerbaijan government services were AZN 603.2 million (8.8%), defense spending â€“ AZN 589.4 million (1.6%), funding for law enforcement and judicial authorities â€“ AZN 454.6 million (+3.1%), education â€“ AZN 854.4 million (10.6%), health care â€“ AZN 323.2 million (18.7%), social security â€“ AZN 1 112.3 million (21.9%), culture, art, etc. â€“ AZN 126.3 million (17.2%), housing â€“ AZN 156.1 million (13.9%), agriculture and forestry â€“ AZN 314.7 million (17.7%), industry â€“ AZN 3 199.9 million (52.8%), transport and communications â€“ AZN 39.6 million (34.2%), economic activities â€“ AZN 106.3 million (4%), other areas â€“ AZN 854.8 million (51.3%).
