Baku hosts forum â€œManagement of risks in post-crisis banksâ€

Director of Azerbaijan Bank Training Center Javanshir Abdullayev said they were discussing the ways of solution of the problems in the management of risks in the banks in the post-crisis period and exchanging information as well.

Director General of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Rashad Orujov spoke about the current state of banking sector in Azerbaijan, sustainability of the banks during the crisis and expectations in this sector.

Orujov said some gaps in management of finances have been identified during the stress-test of bank management 3-4 years ago. â€œIn that time, we determined the risks needed in much attention. Arrear of the financial institutions was a risky factor in that period. But Azerbaijani banking sector demonstrated sustainability during the crisisâ€.

Foreign banking experts John Dorland and Christof Dressler made large presentations on general view on Polish banks, management of risks in the enterprises, new tool of management of risks, organizing daily risk management methods.
