Discord occurs in Azerbaijan Credit Unions Association

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-Economics. Director General of â€œExecutive Credit Agencyâ€ Arif Aliyev took a stance on the information spread about him.

Aliyev rejected the information on his dismissal because of bribetaking cases, he said all of these were wrong.

â€œFor more than 15 months former board chairman of AKIA Elchin Bagirov showed biased position towards me. During this period Bagirov twice dismissed me by passing illegal order. Whereas, my appointment and dismissal does not depend only on the order given by Bagirov. It must be realized by the decision of ACUAâ€™s general meetingâ€, Aliyev added.
To him, ACUA has been founder of Executive Credit Agency, established in accordance with Agent and the Joint Funding Agreement, and become one of the executing partners of the mentioned project: â€œDuring the period ACUA got some achievements in the fulfillment of the project. But recently, inadequate steps of ACUA leadership, shortcomings in management caused discontent of state bodies-partners of the agreement. And it in turn creates serious obstacle for government in fulfillment of obligations in front of the World Bank. In order to eliminate the shortcomings in ACUAâ€™s activity, at the same time, clarification of abnormal relations in the management, a letter has been addressed to all members for holding extraordinary meetingâ€.

Aliyev noted that, Bagirov did no execute the Chairman post of ACUAâ€™s Board of Directors: â€œOn October 4, 2011, extraordinary general meeting of ACUA members was held by the initiative of 43 members of ACUA, in accordance to statute and demands of law on â€œNon-government Organizationsâ€. Action of ACUA related to Board of Directors was considered as unsatisfactory and the new members of Board of Directors, as well Araz Guliyev were selected as a chairman of Board of Directors.
Although the protocol of meeting was submitted to ex-chairman E. Bagirov officially, he refused to hand over ACUAâ€™s stamp and other legal documents. This, in turn violates the action of organization. Relevant state bodies were applied about Bagirovâ€™s arbitrariness. Itâ€™s interesting that, Bagirov does not interest in discussion of his illegal acts at the general meeting, he has many law violations. Several facts were revealed after my appointment as a chairman to Executive Credit Agency. Founder of this LLC E. Bagirov benefited from opportunities of LLC illegally.

Note that, today, ACUA will hold event on occasion of â€œInternational Credit Unions Dayâ€ and 20th anniversary of independence of Azerbaijan. Analogical event was held by organization which E. Bagirov heads, yesterday.
