Volume of investments increases in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. The volume of investments from all financial sources in the construction sector of Azerbaijan for the first 9 months of 2011 amounted to AZN 7.6 billion, of which AZN 5.8 billion or 76.6% were domestic investment, AZN 1.8 billion â€“ external. .

In comparison with the figures for the corresponding period last year, the cost of the construction works increased by 21.9%, for construction works - by 11,1%.

Note that, for the period was put into operation: houses with total area of 1 351.2 thousand square meters, 99-bed hospital, a 100-seat pre-school institutions,140-seat club in Baku, "Darnagul" metro station, Medical-Diagnostic Center, "Badamdar Kempinski" hotel complex, in Ganja Regional Information Centre for people with physical disabilities, Milk Processing Plant and the Olympic Sports Complex in Baku, Absheron district AZDMF furniture factory and plant , gas-compressor station in Astara region, the city of Shirvan "Chinar Hotel" complex and "QasaltÄ±" sanatorium, Agjabedi milk processing plant, dairy products plant and the chess school, Imishli feed mill, vegetable oil factory and the Olympic Sports Complex, Speed of treatment -Diagnostic Center, Gobustan region Poligon Experiment and Training Centre, in Guba district, a school of chess, and chess school Khachmaz condenser plant and etc.

AZN 2 645.8 million of the AZN 6 052.1 million provided in the state budget for construction was spent during the current year.
