United States Special Envoy Steve Witkoff is expected to offer Russian President Vladimir Putin a meeting with President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his visit to Moscow this week, APA reports.
The proposal for a trilateral meeting was announced at a press conference following Witkoff's meeting with the Ukrainian president in Oslo on Tuesday. "Steve Witkoff will fly tomorrow to St. Petersburg, where he will be meeting with Russian leadership and exchanging ideas from this meeting and the proposals that have been worked on by European and American colleagues, and possibly pave the way for a meeting at leaders' level," Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store shared.
