International Insurance Company sees 20% growth in insurance premiums

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-Economics. In January-September, 2011, Azerbaijan International Insurance Companiesâ€™ premiums stood at AZN 9.3 mln, 18.1% compared to last year.

Share of premiums and company made 6.3%.

Note that, companyâ€™s payments on insurance events rose 17.5% to AZN 4.5 mln. Companyâ€™s share on payments was 13.7%.

Remind that, Azerbaijan International Insurance Company started to operate in 2002. The company renders services to customers on 5 compulsory and 32 voluntary insurance types. As of October 1, 2011, its authorized capital made AZN 8.8 mln.
