Vahid Ahmadov: â€œ$500 mln capital must be invested in agriculture of Azerbaijanâ€

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. $500 mln capital must be invested to the agricultural sector of Azerbaijan for achieving 8-105 growth, MP, member of economic Police Committee Vahid Ahmadov said.

To him, there are still some problems in agricultural sector and this sphere needs attention.

Touching upon the development of different spheres of agricultural sector, Ahmadov noted that Azerbaijan got significant achievements in grain-growing area: â€œNevertheless, the overall development of the agricultural sector is still weak. Attention must be given to this sphere in order to eliminate the existing problems. $500 mln capital must be annually invested in agricultural sphere, in order to achieve 8-10% growthâ€.

Ahmadov said that the development of non-oil sector was discussed while consideration of draft budget and agricultural sphere enters this sector.
