According to information, Azerbaijan and Russia’s Ingushetia, Karachay-Cherkess and Dagestan autonomous republics signed framework agreements, Sumgayit and Nevinomissk cities signed agreement on fraternity.Note that, the signing took place within the framework of Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District Alexander Khloponin’s visit to Azerbaijan. Within the visit Khloponin is accompanied by a delegation of businessmen from the North Caucasus Federal District. Russian delegation is planned to meet with the officials of Azerbaijani government and discuss bilateral Azerbaijani-Russian economic cooperation, as well as hold bilateral business forum.
Besides, draft agreement on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Chechen Republic is ready for the signing and is expected to be signed in the near future.
