Azerbaijan attends MONEYVAL meeting in Strasbourg

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. The 36th meeting of Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures and the Financing of Terrorism (MONEYVAL) was held in Strasbourg, France.
Azerbaijan was represented by the delegation led by chairman of State Committee for Securities Rufat Aslanli.

According to SCS, agenda of the meeting included affirmation of evaluation schedule of MONEYVAL-member states on 2011-2012, discussions of second stage progress reports on Russia and Macedonia, 4th stage on Slovakia, Cyprus and San-Marino.

Azerbaijani delegation made speech as a lecturer on Cyprus at the meeting and opinions on questions given to evaluators were exchanged.
Besides, Azerbaijani delegation and Committee and Secretariat have discussed the submitting of second progress report by Azerbaijan, at the next meeting. During tha discussions, they came to agreement on the date, form and technical issues of the submitting of report.
