Maximum interest rates on insured deposits are not expected to change in Azerbaijan

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan Deposits Insurance Fund does not intend to change the maximum interest rates on insured deposits, said the executive director of Fund Azad Javadov.

According to him, the Fund analyses the interests of the deposits during each quarter and the next analyses will be conducted in accordance to the results of third quarter. If the analyze indicates that the interest rates decrease and this is tendency, then maximum grade of interest rates may be decreased from 12%. But, there is not any reason for it.

At the same time, maximum volume of the insured deposits will not be changed.
