KfW and Azerbaijan to implement new projects

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. German KfW Bank has affirmed to allocate â‚¬210 mln, so far, said the Project Manager of KfW Bank on Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia Herald Hubner.

According to him, the bank cooperates with Azerbaijan mainly in 4 spheres. These are: financial sector, water supply in the small cities, energy supply and protection of natural resources. He also noted that, the project on allocation of loans to small and medium entrepreneurship (SME) is implemented by the Germany-Azerbaijan Fund, successfully.

He also noted that, the talks were held with government on submitting of third credit line to Germany-Azerbaijan Fund and the credit line is planned to be given in manta. Besides, KfW Bank discusses the lending projects to farmers in agrarian sector with Azerbaijan.
