NBC Bank increases deposit portfolio by 2.3 times

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based NBC Bankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 47.829 mln, up 7.1% compared t a year earlier.

Bank says the loan portfolio rose 3.7% to AZN 42.758 mln, including consumer lending decreased by 1.4% to AZN 35.928 mln, loan given for until 12 months soared 50% to AZN 10.618 mln, for over 12 months slipped 5.9% to AZN 32.139 mln, overdue credits dropped 1.6% to AZN 228.587 thousand.

Deposit portfolio surged 2.3 times to AZN 11.987 mln, including populationâ€™s deposit climbed by 2.4 times to AZN 11. 816 mln, term deposit rose 2.6 times to AZN 11.037 mln, demand deposit advanced 32% to AZN 950 000.

Total capital grew 2.3% to AZN 17.583 mln, as well authorized capital went up 3.03% to AZN 16.071 mln.

Income made AZN 8.855 mln, up 3.8% from year earlier. Expenditure climbed 5.4% to AZN 8.496 mln. Profit dipped 24% to AZN 359.17 thousand. Net profit stood at AZN 350 000.

Staffs rose 0.7% to 143, average monthly salary increased by 87% to AZN 673.
