Positive balance of foreign trade turnover rises 71% in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. State Statistical Committee says that the volume of trade operations with 147 countries reached $ 27.9 bln, in 2010. In the period of report, $21.3 bln-goods were exported and $6.6 bln â€“ imported to the country.

Export exceeded import by 3.2 times and the positive balance of foreign trade made $ 14.7 bln.

The positive balance has increased by 34.1% compared to the same period of 2010.

25.8port-export operation was conducted with Italy, 7.1% with France, 6.5% with Israel, 6.2% with USA, 6.9% with Russia, 4.8% with Ukraine, 2.8% with Indonesia, 3.4% with Turkey, 2.8% with Croatia, 3.3% with China, 2.8% with Malaysia, 2.2% with Germany, 1.7% with Georgia, 1.3% with Korea and 19.9% with other countries.
