Today, a symposium on financial literacy was held in Baku, by the organizing of Bank Training Centre and German Cooperation Fund for Saving Banks, Representative of Fund Ilonka Ruhle has informed about the importance of increase of financial literacy for population and financial sector.
According to her, this purpose serves to involve the customers to banks, decrease the decline of customers’ payment abilities. Besides, this process supports the banks to extend the product varieties and provide the customers’ need.
In turn, BTC chairman Javanshir Abdullayev noted that, the financial literacy is very important for population to get information about the banking system, insurance and leasing market.
