“There is no leader in Ukraine, no big civil movement, no single party or organization that could topple the regime,” said Walesa.
There are democratically elected president and premier. The protesters cannot violate the democratic principles as later on the same principles will be violated against them, he said.
Ukraine is in chaos, Walesa says. “If Klitschko wins the power on the streets, he will lose it as quickly as he won it. There’s too much chaos in Ukraine,” the Polish ex-president said.
Walesa said he opts for roundtable talks between the regime and opposition. “Ukraine can’t be changed by force,” he said.
