According to the Le Telegramme newspaper, 309 senators voted in favor of the extension of the state of emergency, while 30 voted against the measure.
Following the November 13 terrorist attacks across Paris, which left at least 130 people dead, the French government introduced a three-month state of emergency across the country, which was later extended for another three months.
