Polish police have detained members of the criminal group headed by Armenians on charges of illegal production of cigarettes.
100,000 filled and 100,000 empty cigarette packs were seized from a tobacco factory illegally operating near Warsaw, APA reported citing Armenian-News – news.am.
Five of the detainees are citizens of Ukraine, two citizens of Armenia and one a citizen of Poland.
Armenian leaders of the criminal group are expected to face a sentence of 10 years and others 5-year imprisonment.
