According to international law, Ukraine has the right to strike military targets in the Russian Federation for self-defense purposes, states NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg during a press conference with Finnish President Alexander Stubb, APA reports citing RBC Ukraine.
Ukraine, as the Secretary-General noted, has the right to self-defense, and its allies have the right to assist Kyiv in implementing its defense.
Stoltenberg added that Ukraine has the right to strike legitimate military targets outside its territory to defend itself.
