Ukrainian Nuclear Agency shared on Friday that it recorded a rise in the level of radiation in the Chernobyl area, APA reports citing Teletrader.
"Data from the automated radiation monitoring system of the exclusion zone, which is available online, indicate that the control levels of gamma radiation dose rate (red dots) have been exceeded at a significant number of observation points," said the agency.
They added that the reasons for this are currently unknown and that it is impossible to check due to "the occupation and military fight in this territory." Yesterday, Ukraine lost control of the Chernobyl nuclear site to Russian troops.
