Member of the British House of Lords Lord Sheikh expressed condolences to the people of Azerbaijan in connection with the Khojaly genocide, APA reports.
"On the solemn anniversary of the Khojaly massacre. I wish to stress the need for further strengthening of the international regime governing international humanitarian law to ensure the prevention of such tragedies in future.
As the people of Azerbaijan commemorate 30th anniversary of the Khojaly massacre, I am sending my sincere condolences and sympathies to them on this solemn occasion.
- My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Azerbaijan on the tragic 30th anniversary of Khojaly," he said.
